I was pleasently surprised by yet another of Quindio's tourist attractions... The Parque Nacional del Cafe,  although a little more commerical than places I usually visit, it was a lot of fun and great day out.
There was plenty of fun activities for the whole family as well as the opportunity to learn about Colombian coffee culture and the  history of the area.
It also hosts one of the most entertaining shows I have seen anywhere.

The National Coffee Park was founded by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia and the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Quindio.

The park belongs to the "Fundación Parque de la Cultura Cafetera" and is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the cultural and history of coffee in Colombia, to promote cultural, recreational, ecological activities and boost ecotourism in the region.

It is an amusement theme park filled with all the splendor of the Quindio landscape where you find all the magic and history of coffee culture.

El Parque Nacional del Café, fue fundado por la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia y el Comité Departamental de Cafeteros del Quindío, pertenece a la Fundación Parque de la Cultura Cafetera y es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro destinada a la preservación del patrimonio cultural e histórico del café en Colombia, a la promoción de actividades culturales, recreativas, ecológicas y al impulso del ecoturísmo en la región. Es un parque temático y de atracciones lleno de todo el esplendor del paisaje quindiano donde encontrará toda la magia y la historia de la cultura cafetera.
